Two Brisbane sisters, Augnes and Teresa Joy, sung from memory, the national anthems of all the countries of the United Nations.
They sang for an incredible 6 hours, with 10 minute breaks every 2 hours.
A total of 193 national anthems were sung in different languages. Augnes and Teresa Joy studied 100 languages over an eight year period to achieve their goal, a WORLD RECORD.
The successful record attempt took place at St. John’s cathedral Brisbane to celebrate the United Nations International Day for Peace.
