Tones and I (Toni Watson) became the first lead female artist in the world to
overtake three billion song streams in Spotify history, with the song she
composed herself, Dance Monkey.
Dance Monkey, released in May 2019, broke the record for being number one
24 times on the ARIA Singles Chart by any artist since it’s release. It reached number one in over 30 countries.
Dance Monkey holds the world record for the most Shazams in history, music
lovers shazamed the song over 36.6 million times.
Toni is from Mount Martha in Victoria and spent many years busking in
different locations throughout Australia.
