'Ouroboros' the largest investment in NGA history on a single work

Lindy Lee’s sculpture ‘Ouroboros’, based on the ancient tale of the same name about a snake
swallowing its own tail, is the largest ever investment in NGA history on a single artwork.

Lindy, along with other helpers worked on this artwork for four years in a Brisbane Foundry.

It was such a massive undertaking, even moving it from Brisbane to Canberra by truck took just short of a week.
