First Australian lead Nutbush in Antarctica

On Thursday 11th December 2025 5:45pm local (Chilean) time, so UTC -3hrs, Australian permanent resident Richard Blackburn, led a team of six Antarctic workers Rebecca Neal, lobster suit, Jens Thomsen, Penguin, Eric Gee, Wookie suit on right, Charlotte Firmenich, far left of penguin and Travis Hesom in his chicken suit performed the first Nutbush dance in the Antarctic at Union Glacier station, Mount Rossman in the Heritage Hills.

This was part of the fancy-dress annual Union Glacier football international against the Chilean team based 2km away. 

The specific location of Union Glacier and this attempt is 79degrees 46 minutes south, 82 degrees 52 minutes west.
