Youngest Aussie to win a Formula 1 Grand Prix

On the 21st of July 2024,  at the Hungaroring Racetrack near Budapest Hungary, at just 23 years of age, Team McClaren’s Oscar Piastri has made history as the youngest Australian to win a Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Oscar is the fifth Australian to win a Formula 1 Grand Prix following:

  • Jack Brabham
  • Alan Jones
  • Mark Webber
  • Daniel Ricciardo
