On Sunday February 9th, 2025, Jordan Mailata became the first Australian to play for a winning team in the Super Bowl.
Mailata helped the Philadelphia Eagles thrash the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.
Mailata, who is also the first Australian to play in two Super Bowls, enjoyed revenge against the Chiefs, who beat his Eagles for the Vince Lombardi Trophy in 2023.
