The oldest living past Aussie rules player is 105 year old Jim Miller, of the Western Bulldogs, born on the 30th of May, 1919.
Jim was born in Footscray. He played in Footscray District Football League before he was recruited by Footscray Football Club. He made his debut in 1938 and played 131 games for the club in the next 11 years.
During world war 11 he served in both the army and the RAAF.
