Australia’s first female astronaut
Katherine Bennell-Pegg, Director of Space Technology will make history when she flies out from The Australian Space Agency to Germany to undertake astronaut training with the European Space Agency (ESA).

 

Training for Katherine begins in April 2023 and concludes May 2024. On receiving her basic training Katherine would become eligible as per a prerequisite for missions to the International Space Station.
