At the Inglis Easter sales in 2021 the most expensive yearling in the Southern Hemisphere was sold. It was a Snitzel x Rising Romance colt which sold for 2.5 million dollars. The buyer was Hawkes Racing and the vendor was Arrowfield Stud.
