Wadih Yacoub is a remarkable 96 year old gentleman who has continued his craft of sewing, helping to produce the finest shoes one could dream of purchasing.
He uses his reliable old sewing machine in his home garage in
Melbourne’s north.
The owner of McCloud shoes Melbourne, who regularly delivers leather to Wadih for their crafted shoes, said “it would be hard to find a more upstanding human being” and believes
Wadih should receive an Order of Australia, for his fine example to
others.
