Greatest number of handmade bookmarks made by students
CONGRATULATIONS to students from outer Gippsland schools on achieving the national record, for the greatest number of handmade bookmarks by students, celebrating Book Week 2024. The total made was 658 ️counted on 23rd August, 2024.
The schools who participated are: Heyfield Primary school - Maffra Secondary college - Newmerella Primary school -Nambrok Denison Primary school - Loch Sport Primary school - Stratford Primary school - Araluen Primary school. 
Local libraries will distribute the book marks to lucky borrowers, keeping their last read page safe in their book.
